About Central Texas Pool Leagues

Who we are

Central Texas Pool Leagues (CTPL) is a BCAPL-affiliated amateur pool league operator running cash leagues across the Austin area. We organize weekly league play for players of every skill level, from first-time leaguers to seasoned competitors chasing a trip to Las Vegas.

Where we play

We run leagues at five Austin-area venues:

• Eddie's Tavern — Round Rock
• Fast Eddies N. Fork — Cedar Park
• The Grand — North Austin
• Slick Willies
• Mayfield's Bar and Billiards — North Austin

Game formats

We offer multiple game formats so there's something for every player:

• 8-Ball
• 9-Ball
• 10-Ball
• Lagger's Choice

League formats

• Singles
• Team — up to 8-person teams
• Scotch Doubles

BCAPL affiliation and the road to Vegas

CTPL is affiliated with the BCAPL (Billiard Congress of America Pool League). Our league play feeds into the BCAPL system, giving our members a path to compete at the BCAPL National Championships in Las Vegas.

Lessons and instruction

A BCAPL licensed instructor is available for hire. Whether you're learning the fundamentals or sharpening your game for tournament play, we can connect you with qualified instruction.
